Child Custody

A child custody investigation is an unbiased assessment of how a kid is raised and is typically conducted in connection with a divorce, legal separation, or custody dispute. In a normal investigation, an investigator evaluates how a child is treated by his or her parents. The investigator's findings are subsequently conveyed to the court and applied to custody assessments. A child custody investigation will deliver trustworthy information without bias during a divorce.

A child custody investigator may use surveillance depending on the circumstances of the case to learn how a parent or guardian interacts with their child. Any abuse or neglect that investigators observe will be legally documented by photos, videos, and audio recordings. They will also interview prospective witnesses, such as family members, and verify the backgrounds of those in custody. An investigator who is looking into a parent will seek for anything that might have a negative impact on the child, such as drug or alcohol misuse, criminal behavior, careless driving, gambling, or reckless driving. Additionally, they will make sure that the parent is giving their child everything they need, including a clean, safe place to live, wholesome food, and emotional support. These investigators are taught to prioritize the child's safety. Sometimes, in order to lessen the child's stress, investigations are even carried out without their knowledge. An investigator will not only submit a report but also testify in court if the findings are problematic.
